We’re unveiling a new look for the Airbnb site and app. These changes are intended to help you show off the best features of your space. Ultimately, these updates will change the way things look and feel, but not the way Airbnb works for hosts. They also won’t change how search works.

Our new look will be gradually rolling out to the community in the coming days and weeks. Here are some things you’ll notice about our cleaner look:

An intuitive experience

Your listing page presents information in a way that helps travelers make a booking decision. The page tells a story—from beautiful photos, to your amenity and neighborhood highlights, to details about you. We hope it will encourage travelers to reach out and request a reservation.

Bigger photos

Photos attract travelers’ attention, so your listing photos are bigger, and they appear throughout your listing description. You can change the order of your photos if you want to select different images to use in your listing, and guests will be able to click on any of these images to see the rest of your listing photos.

Clearer listing information

All of your listing information appears on a single page. Your summary at the top can grab a traveler’s attention, and your detailed description below will help them learn more about your space. The way you update your description hasn’t changed.

Amenities and house rules are more prominent

We’ve moved some of the most important information about your listing to the forefront. Guests can quickly use the new icons to review a selection of the amenities you offer. We’ve also made your house rules as visible as your listing description, so that you can set expectations early.

Neighborhood details

Guests want a local perspective when they’re traveling, so you may want to share your neighborhood favorites in a guidebook, which has moved from a separate tab, to a prominent spot on your listing. We’ve also made the map bigger, so that guests can get a sense of where they’ll be staying in relation to local attractions.

You’ll see that beyond your listing page, the Airbnb website and mobile app both look cleaner, clearer, and more inviting, while remaining familiar.

We worked closely with our community in the process that guided this new look, and we know there’s more to do. We’re working on better tools, improved settings, and new features. It’s this foundation that will make those improvements possible.
