Back in July, we announced the two grand-prize winners of our Destination: Honeymoon Contest who won all-expensed paid dream honeymoons to paradise in Anguilla, British West Indies and a romantic villa in the hills of Tuscany, Italy. The lucky couples fill us in on their trips and the details of their escapades.
We had the best honeymoon ever! From start to finish, our stay at Grand Outlook Castle was ”over the moon” perfection. Met by wonderful Wendell at the airport in Anguilla, he shared some Island history while driving us to our “home away from home”. We were met by fresh flowers on the bed and fresh towels by the infinity pool. The home is so spacious with elegant , but very comfortable furnishings, and we did feel right at home. It didn’t take long before we were relaxing in the pool enjoying the gorgeous view and magnificent sunsets! Relaxing and reconnecting was the goal, which was achieved. Out amazing hosts, Paul and Elise, made sure that every detail was looked after We fell in love with the beautiful flora & fauna, and made some lasting friendships with some of the local people. Thank you! To everyone who made this happen for us, we gratefully thank you all so much! We could never have had this amazing time together, (which reminded us of why we got married in the first place), without your help. It truly was a dream come true!

“We’re in complete awe of Italy – the beauty, the culture, and of course, the food! Everything was exactly how we imagined it to be. Giacomo and Rolly were the perfect hosts, making us feel as at home as possible. They extended their friendship and guidance to us throughout the entire stay. We traveled to Sienna, Lucca, Pisa, Florence, and made a couple trips to a local town called Pestoia. We also relaxed on the terrace and enjoyed many glasses of wine with the other guests. The scenery is like something out of a movie and I’m almost positive you couldn’t find better food anywhere else! We will definitely be back…”
