$500 raffle winner: Steve B!

On Saturday night we celebrated our one year launch party at our headquarters in San Francisco. Over 150 people joined us in celebrating the easiest to use web site for booking short term rentals online. To show our appreciation to our users, one lucky person walked home the winner of our raffle for $500 towards a trip to any one of the thousands of listings on Airbnb. Way to go, Steve! Have a nice trip :)

Thoughtful Thursday: Say Happy Birthday!

This week, Airbnb are holding a belated 1-year anniversary party on their roofdeck. For all you wonderful hosts out there, thanks for all that you do. You make Airbnb what it is, today.

If you're in the San Francisco area, be sure to RSVP to your party invitations. As for the rest of you who won't be able to make it out this far, give yourselves a pat on the back. You deserve to celebrate the success as much as we do.

To spread this token of gratitude from the Airbnb HQ out to you and further out to your guests, why not use this as a perfect excuse to take your guests out for a little drink this weekend!

Hey Miami - what a trip! I got to meet over 14 hosts in only two short days. It was a pleasure to learn more about your city, see your beaches (if only briefly), and stay at an Airbnb on South Beach. (Read my review here) I enjoyed meeting all of you, especially those who were available to join me for drinks on Tuesday night.
